This isn’t your typical food tour! Your guide won’t treat you as ‘a customer’ but as a friend. She will show you some of her favourite spots as well as telling you about Irish food history and the current food scene and trends. You won’t eat a typical Dublin coddle or visit touristy pubs, we leave that to others! You will spend over three hours wandering the streets of Dublin, stopping at cafés and food shops for talks and tastings. So if you want you to have an ‘off the beaten track’ and personable experience, then this is the tour for you.
Your guide, Ketty Quigley is originally from the Loire Valley in France. Ketty studied Tourism management before moving to Dublin in 2004 where she worked in the travel industry for over 8 years, before starting her own food tour business in 2013. Ketty is a graduate of Ballymaloe Cookery School and the author of the multi-award winning food blog ‘French Foodie in Dublin’. As a prominent blogger and passionate food lover she is always in the loop when it comes to Dublin’s food scene. In 2016 Ketty was chosen as an Irish food champion by Fáilte Ireland (Ireland’s National Tourism Development Authority).
